What's the minimum order?
It depends on the product and the factory. Many factories accept a smaller first order, and small orders can share a container with other cargo (LCL), so you don't have to fill one yourself. Tell us your quantity and we'll say straight away whether it works.
How long does an order take to reach me?
Production time depends on the product and the factory's schedule. Sea freight from South China to Nhava Sheva or Mundra takes roughly two to three weeks, then customs clearance and trucking to your city. Your quote gives dates for your order, and air freight is available when it's urgent.
How do payments work?
For a first order we agree the terms in the quote. Approved customers can buy on credit, typically net 30 to net 90, and we work with letters of credit through our banks in Delhi. We only ever take payment into accounts in the NV Impex company name.
Can I see a sample first?
Yes. We arrange samples from the shortlisted factories and tell you any cost before a sample is made. Production is then checked against the sample you approved.
My product needs BIS. Can you still import it?
Often, yes. We check whether your product needs a BIS licence or CRS registration before we quote, and we only work with factories that actually hold it. If the rules make an import impractical, we'll tell you before you pay anything.
Where do you deliver?
Anywhere in India. Goods can be delivered straight to your door, or stored at our Delhi warehouse and dispatched when you need them.
